
Darrell Beeler is now in his second year at Bixby, his sixth overall as the hitting coach on Coach Wilson's staff and his 20th season overall coaching high school baseball.
In 2025, his first year at Bixby, Beeler helped lead the team to a 31-win, state semi-finalist season, where the Spartans' hitters produced a .336/.436/.475 slash line, while also finishing with more BB than K. In his 5 years on Coach Wilson's staff, his hitters have slashed .345/.460/.461 and averaged 8.1 runs per game.
After a playing career at Jenks HS and Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Beeler began his high school baseball coaching career at his alma mater in 2002. In that time, he helped lead the Trojans to 12 state tournament appearances in 18 seasons. After that, he joined Coach Wilson at Cascia Hall, and spent four seasons there, setting numerous offensive program records and earning 2 state tournament berths, including a state-runner up finish in 2023, the best finish in program history. Beeler joined Coach Wilson at Bixby in 2025.
Beeler is the father of fellow Spartans coach, Dallas Beeler. He and his wife Susan, have two other grown children, Chase and Lacy and four grandchildren.
